PIPE FITTER (MULTICRAFT)
Two-year mechanical diploma or apprenticeship program with at least 5 years of experience in a Maintenance or plant constructionpiping / vessel craft role are required. 8 years of experience is required with no diploma or apprenticeship.
Experience should include fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping and tubing systems including;removing / installing large pipe and valves, working with pipe hangers / spring cans, drawing up piping isometricsfor process equipment containingpetrochemicals, utilities, lubricating, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Also, some light PCE / vessel experience is preferred (e.g. opening / closing tanks, blinding exchangers,etc.).
Ability to speak and read English is required to interpret and apply information from work orders, job orders, specifications, isometric drawings and also to understand the Safe Work Permitting process.
