Duties & Responsibilities
1. Follow all company Health & Safety procedures
2. Report to Supervisor and/or Operations Manager, and comply with all instructions given by them.
3. Wear Personal Protective Equipment supplied by SCCL at all times.
4. Carry out machine daily checks before and after operating machine.
5. Access and exit the machine in a safe manner
6. Make any operator adjustments before operating the machine, ensuring cab glass, mirrors and any reversing aids are clean
7. Keep the cab clean and free from slipping/tripping hazards at all times
8. Be able to identify all machine controls
9. Follow the correct start up procedure
10. Seat belt / harness must be worn at all times
11. Know how to safely follow the Manager’s Traffic Rules
12. Safe operation around light vehicles
13. Safe operations around pedestrians
14. Tyre preserving operations
15. Brake preserving operations
16. Engine preserving operations
17. Transmission preserving operations
18. Loading productivity and accuracy
19. Dumping productivity and accuracy
20. Cycle productivity
21. Complete and hand in Machine Daily Reports.
22. Comply with Safe System of Work
