Job Description:
- Needs to be aware of the latest health and safety and hygienic regulations and policies.
- Is fully aware of all the items on the menu, dish preparation methods and presentation standards.
- Seeks own solutions to the minor obstacles that sometimes Has to produce an output of high quality in accordance with a deadline.
- Listens clearly to instructions and act upon them accordingly.
- Prepares the food according to the highest standards.
- Communicates with the Purchasing Department.
- Keeps abreast of newest trends and innovations in the hospitality industry.
- Generally being alert for opportunities to improve the profitability of the department i.e. through controlling wastage and being responsible for the economy of all utilities.
- A minimum of 2 years working experience is required.
- Must be at least high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
