Job Description:

• Work with molten glass (from a furnace) and a blowing iron to form the glass into a rough shape. and know how to inspect the glass for defects and cutting it accordingly before it is blown into a shape
• Knows how to mix ingredients such as sodium carbonate, sulfur, and limestone to create glass formulas for different types of applicantions.
• Knows to blow glass into desired shapes using specialized tools such as blowpipes, punchers, and marvers
• Inspect the quality of the finished product for defects such as scratches or bubbles, in order to determine whether it can be sold or much be remelted.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years working experience is required.
• Must be at least high school graduate.
• Must be able to speak good english.
